Son,Husband,Brother,Fireman and dearest friend to many. A man I have been able to call good friend and brother for more than 25 years. Was taken from us suddenly by cancer. Leaving behind a loving family and wife.
If you met him you were a friend for life. He touched everyone around him in different ways. As for me, Someone told me last week that to have one friend more than 30 years is truly special. Johnny(we called him Squirt) had quite a few more than that. He truly helped me turn my life around in many ways. His love and compassion for everything in his life is what made him unique. So many memories I will cherish of him growing up hunting and fishing or just hanging out whether with friends or family or neighbors, He was there always with a smile and always ready to give someone a hand if they needed it. He will be sorely missed by many many people. His untimely passing is a tragedy for all of us who have had the privelage of knowing or working with him. This is my tribute to Johnny and also my way of trying to deal with the pain of losing a friend who meant so much to me. God must have some really big plans for you to take you from us so suddenly. Little Buddy, I love you and miss you already.
To all who have been here and shown their support I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I was amazed by the attendance at the service. And I think Johnny would of been amazed by the amount of people he touched during his life. All the faces brought so many memories from the past. It made for some great storytelling later that evening. Stories that brought many tears of joy and comfort to our eyes. Thank you again
If you have any old pics of Johnny feel free to scan them and email them to me so I can post them. Here are some of the pics I have taken the last few years as well as some that have been sent..
